Champagne from small family estates provide superb quality and excellent value. Cyril and Frédéric Gyéjacquot’s father, Michel, founded the estate with his brother, Daniel, in 1970, and started to build up their vineyards. They now span seven villages and nurture the three main varieties – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – also with, unusually, a little Pinot Blanc.
