Vigna del Lauro was founded in 1994, the name referring to an old vineyard surrounded by ancient laurel trees that imbued a distinctive and intensely spicy fragrance. Soon other plots were added, some owned, some leased, both in the Collio zone and in the Isonzo plain, all located near the municipality of Cormans. Today, more than 10 hectares produce around 60,000 bottles annually. The focus here is on the classic Friulian white wines but their reds also show a harmony and beautiful drinking flow. All wines offer an excellent price to pleasure ratio. Fabio Coser, with wife Daniela and sons Matteo and Enrico, focus on preserving the delicate aromatic qualities of their grapes by careful and selective harvesting of the grapes. They also produce a range of wines under the label Ronco dei Tassi.
