Description

Meggiolaro Vini is a small family-run company founded in 2007, on the hills of Roncà between the provinces of Vicenza and Verona. To the west is Lake Garda, to the east the warm Adriatic sea, to the north the Lessini mountains with their rich grazing lands, and to the south the Po Valley sloping towards the Apennines. The oldest vineyard is 40yo and 450m asl, exposed S/SW where it receives the warmest rays of summer sun and the gentle touch of fresh nights, so that the temperature leap guarantees an intense bouquet to the Garganega grapes. Planted on deep volcanic soils rich in basaltic lava, schist and tuffa, the vines are farmed organically: yields are kept low, to get the best out of the extraordinary Garganega grape.
